Indefinite Leave to Remain

Indefinite Leave to Remain (also known as Permanent Residence or Settled Status) allows someone reside in the UK on a permanent basis free of immigration control subject to meeting certain requirements as set out in the Immigration Rules. There are a number of visa categories that a migrant can qualify for ILR under (ie Work, Family, Long Residence).
