The skilled worker visa permits you to come to the UK to work in an eligible job with an approved employer.

You would also need:

To have received an offer of employment to work for a UK employer who holds a sponsor licence approved by the Home Office

have a ‘certificate of sponsorship’ (CoS) from your employer with information about the role you have been offered in the UK

Been offered a job that is on the Home Office list of eligible occupations

Will be paid a minimum salary - how much depends on the type of work you do and the date you got your CoS

Meet the English language requirement
You can also bring your partner and children under the age of 18 with you as your dependents.
Fees

Applying from outside the UK: £885 for up to 3 years and £1751 for up 5 years
​
Applying from inside the UK: £769 for up to 3 years and £1519 for up to 5 years
​
You would also need to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge which is £1035 per year
