Skilled Worker

The skilled worker visa permits you to come to the UK to work in an eligible job with an approved employer.

You would also need:

​

• To have received an offer of employment to work for a UK employer who holds a sponsor licence approved by the Home Office

• have a ‘certificate of sponsorship’ (CoS) from your employer with information about the role you have been offered in the UK

• Been offered a job that is on the Home Office list of eligible occupations

• Will be paid a minimum salary - how much depends on the type of work you do and the date you got your CoS

• Meet the English language requirement

 

You can also bring your partner and children under the age of 18 with you as your dependents.

Fees

Applying from outside the UK: £885 for up to 3 years and £1751 for up 5 years

​

Applying from inside the UK: £769 for up to 3 years and £1519 for up to 5 years

​

You would also need to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge which is £1035 per year
